STORY SHARDS

Reform the Vessel
of Your Life

"Our story-vessels break. We hold our breath
too long. In time, we reform and re-inspire."

Visual artist LISL DENNIS inspires us to gather the shards of our lives: To collect the memories - the bits and pieces - of our life storys in order to integrate and reform them into future service. By storying the past with intent to foster healing, we breath new life and creativity into whole vessels as mature healing agents in family, community, and our world.

STORY SHARDS is based on LISL DENNIS' personal odyssey told through story, dream and metaphor. The vibrant, highly structured, multimedia presentation includes music and video of Lisl's adventures, retreats, ceremonies, and pilgrimages around the world. By taking participants to far-away places and into the imaginal, the program becomes a safe container of mutuality, humor, and honesty. In Story Circles, participants dust off their own stories, reforming shards long buried and forgotten.

  • Re-story your story from the bright side.
  • Journey from robustness and creativity, through breakpoint,
and on to restoration of resiliance and creativity
  • Look deep into the vessel of your own story
  • Honor your past and set intention to story-forward
  • Restore your original creativity and calling

Who should attend STORY SHARDS? Anyone who has experienced vicissitudes of life and may have scattered their shards. Anyone wishing to integrate the past and move through their stuck narratives. Anyone, of any age or circumstance, who desires to emerge as a reformed vessel for healing in our world.

RESPONSE FROM STORY SHARDS PARTICIPANTS

Lisl demonstrates it all in her visuals: light, observation, intimacy, expectation, formlessness, and "guruosity".

THank you for gracing our community and studio with your courage and candid spirit. STORY SHARDS was incredibly timely and a truly healing space we all shared.

I had been running around for a long time with untied shoe laces. The circle of women lovingly tied my shoes back up... and all is well.

I want to continue the thread that arose for me. Let's get together again to share and story-forward from the common platform of our gathering.
